I am busy atm, but... new work is coming up.

Hi, I have not anything new to post yet because I am still working on it but I am too busy at the moment.

This blog is new so there is not much to see yet but I would like to keep you interested.
So I thought: Why don't post some older work?! ;)

I am going to post some of my dog-handbags.
I love making them but it's a hell of a lot work! That's why I don't have many of them yet.
I make them mostly by hand and for some bigger parts I use the sewing machine.

Hope you like them :)

Toby is finished!!!

Here is the result of my first plushies/ needle felted tiger 'Toby'.

He has a small hedgehog prickle in his paw and feels kinda sad about it.
The hedgehog is also needle felted.
I like needle felting. Looking forward on a new project but don't know what yet.

Ps. my fingers hurt... =P

Scratsh, scratch, scratch, scratch, OUCH!, scratch, scratch, scratch....

I have been trying something new this week: needle felting on fiber.
I bought a small package of wool and felting needles last year on the Doll -and Bearshow in Ahoy but had not used it yet. So what shall we do with it?
Just start with anything, I guess.
Very interesting to do - needle felting. It's sounds funny as well :)

....Scratsh, scratch, scratch, scratch, OUCH! *needle sticking in finger*, scratch, scratch, scratch, scratch, OUCH!....
When I started I felt like it was too easy to do but I must admit it is not that easy actually.

I am going to start on the body now. I think I will make his paws with felt too. Starting to like it.
The pain from pricking the needle in my finger starts to feel ... uhm... well, you get used to it.

My first entry...

Hi, I'm Melanie Ansems - known as Mellisea on DeviantArt, so I will keep this name.
I am finally trying to creat my own first blog ever...

I am planning putting on stuff that I made. I would like to keep you up-dated and also to keep myself at work.
I tend to start project and take to much time to finish it, hehe...
I am not so great at computers, so forgive if the lay-out looks kinda crappy. I'm working on it.
Well, I guess this will be my first entry then.
