Update: New work!

I have done some amazing things the last 2 weeks but did not really feel as good as I would like to. I have had some terrible mood swings. I guess it is called stress and it shows itself when you have some days off work.. My poor (future) husband... I am so sorry, my love.

But like I said I have done some amzing things! I went to the Bear and Doll-show in Hasselt - which was kinda small and disapponting. Driving one hour to get there a terrible rain and having seen everything in 30 minutes... but we have had a great ice-cream afterwards!

Last Saturday I went to see Roger Waters in the Gelredome in Arnhem!  This was absolutely amazing!

And yesterday we went to the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel - it's a amusment park. It was not so full of people so you could go through every attraction without a long waiting line. I love the rollercoaster  'Joris en de Draak'. 

But now to my last creation.

Although this piece is already waiting almost a week to get online I could not find the time to take pictures and when you find some time the batteries run out...

New stuff : 'Rocky' the baby dino

This is my new  little handmade baby dino called 'Rocky'

It's my own dedsign/ pattern. I did some needlefelting on the eyes, mouth and the back of his head.

I'm back!

Hi there,

just got back from the UK! I went to see my sister's (http://likeabluebird.blogspot.com/ ) grad show and on Sunday to the Hugglets Winter Bear Show in London  http://www.hugglets.co.uk/festivalindex.php .

Saw some familiar face of both people and bears. Starting to enjoy these shows!

I have made my sister a piggy for her gratuation as an Animation Director on the NFTS.

Called the piggy 'Lucky' , because she has been very lucky doing this school and making such a great gratuation movie called 'Playing Ghost' . She is gonna be very succesful!

Meet 'Dennis' the Badger

I have been working very hard on a new animal since I have made 'Blueberry' for my boyfriend.

I have made a badger and called him 'Dennis' - like the badger in Doctor Snuggles.

I just started another project and I have to finish it till Thursday... then I'll be visiting my sister in England - looking forward to!!!

Will post some pictures of 'Dennis' now.

Hey,

I have been very, very busy lately so wasn't really able to make something new.

I started 2 project and did not finish. 

The sadest thing was that I wanted to take part of an contest for a Dutch/ Belgian Institute of Doll Artist called 'DABIDA'  ( www.dabida.eu ) but on the last moment I decided not to finish my work and not to take part because I can't 'feel' the polymer clay ,at the moment, when my hands are so sore. And if I can't feel the polymer clay I can't give all that I can. I was very sad because I was looking forward to this contest.

But Yesterday I started on a little Valentine's present for my boyfriend and I have just finished it!

A little pig called 'Blueberry'.

I have to go now. I will post one picture and will post some more in the following days.

First entry of the year 2011: 'Louis'

Here is Louis, a sloth boy.

Not quit as promised, I wanted to finish him last week already but at last; here he is:

 'Louis'

He is made of green plushies and has a needle felted face. His paws are made of  polymer clay, which I have sewed on afterwards

I filled his arms and legs with rice to make them heavier and hang more.

Why a sloth? Don't know, I simply love these slow animals. They always seem to smile and never worry.
